Tailar always loved starting her day with a coffee and a sweet treat, and what better way to honor her memory than with a Coffee 5k Fun Run in her name? This event is a celebration of her spirit and a chance to bring the community together in her honor.

This is a Fun Run, so no need to stress about formal sign-ups! Just show up, walk or run at your own pace, and enjoy the vibes. We will ship out T-shirts PRIOR to the event. Ordering for the shirts end OCTOBER 1ST 2024

After the run, treat yourself to something delicious—whether it’s a coffee, tea, or sweet treat from The Newstand—whatever tickles your fancy.

We’re thrilled to host our first event and welcome everyone to join. Grab a shirt, bring a friend, and let’s make this an awesome morning together! Can't wait to see you there!

SAFETY & COURTESY –

HEAT RELATED ILLNESSES ARE STILL A VERY REAL DANGER!  Continue to pay attention to heat dangers.  Stay attentive.  We will continue to talk about heat illness.  Be smart with your heat illness awareness.  Remember, you are learning this not only for yourself but also for a fellow runner who may be advancing toward heat stroke but not recognize it. Start hydrating on Thursdays. Find shady parts of our routes when possible. Recognize when you are getting woozy/stumbling a bit. Know what to do.

Generally speaking, run in the direction facing traffic so you can see oncoming traffic.  This lets you use both sound and vision to help keep you safe.  Help each other run safely and courteously by setting a good example of following traffic rules and reminding each other of being courteous to each other and vehicular traffic.

Carry ICE – “In Case of Emergency” information that includes an emergency contact.  I would rather that you carry “ICE” with you every time you are out and never need it than needing it one time and not have it.
